RC Hotels Dinner & Dance

After returning home from sch...
went back to hotel to attend the hotel's D&D...
theme - "Viva Las Vegas"
and yep...
the 1st ever hotel to start it casino operations in Singapore...
right here... in our annual D&D...
but not wif real money though...
fake majong chips...
LOL!!!
but ok lah...
nothing much to play anyway...
juz roulette and dices...

Ben and KM never go...
so i go alone...
but i joined the Equinox ppl... haha...
door gift was a pair of coffee mugs...

entered the front door... and wow...
big function...
3 of the biggest ballrooms combined into a mega big ballroom...
dry ice... smoke... lazer lighting...
it juz looks so grand...
it was actually fun though... :P
watch the performances...
the funny crap the ppl pulled out...
and the hosts were actually pretty much talented...
i had fun...
and my share of laughter...
juz dat...
the food note exactly very good though...
at least lose to our own hotel's food... :P

saw Ivy at the D&D too...
finally... LOL
i got to see her after so long... :P
also saw Ee Ling... she's leaving the hotel into another profession this coming Fridae...
anyways... todae was pretty much enjoyable... :P

SHATEC Revisited

Went back to sch todae...
coz someone asked me to go wif him...
which in the end never go... -_-

got my transcript... not bad...
ate my usual... roast duck wif char siew rice... at the kopitiam... :P
stayed in sch for quite a while... had a chat wif Sebastian...
saw a few familiar faces...
including Donny Lai... Vincent Tan... Mr. Teow... Jack Chan... Andrew... and our favourite... [OPT]!!! LOL... XD

long time never return to sch liao...
missed the good ol' daes...
daes when we were in IS...
when we were in demo kitchen... squeezing to the front to watch Derrick Lau perform his stunts...
times when we spent along the corridor during intermission... :P
all are but memories now...

spent too much time in the hotel...
perception changes...
mindset changes...
even habits change...
during sch daes... u see a trainer walk past...
u greet "Sir"
todae went back...
saw Mr. Teow...
1st reaction was to greet "Good morning Chef..."
LOL...
too long in the hotel...
became a habit to call them Chefs... :P

Newcomer...

We have a new comer in garde manger...
a full-time to be exact...
an indian... from Malaysia...
well... 1st... i gotta congratulate him for entering hell's kitchen... :P
no wonder KM is no longer needed in garde manger... haha...

according to schedule... i will never get a chance to work wif KM much...
but now... it seems...
we get to work together quite often... haha...
lasagne...
garde manger...
lasagne again...
oh well...
never get a chance to work wif Ben though...
aiyah...
no need me to work wif him...
he got some other "person" to pei him...
we are juz lamp posts... XD

somehow i think it's anoher MLM thing... Zzz...
come here invite many ppl...

they booked the 3 biggest ballrooms in the hotel...
(Padang, Canning and Collyer)
Canning and Collyer combined to become something like a 7th mth "ge tai"
wif all the dry ice and stuff...
Zzz...
den they sing the national dae theme song... O_o
and then... hell came...
7th mth hungry goose festival...
all rush into Padang (where the buffet is set up...)
and within mere seconds... food were all gone...
top up noodles...
go in take spring roll to top up...
come back... noodle gone... O_o
got so hungry mah?
becoz of this stupid function... i work 10 hrs todae... Zzz...

other dan this function... nothing much happened todae liao...
everydae is pretty much the same...
boring... Zzz...

stay at home and watch NDP on TV... LOL...
long time never get to watch NDPs liao...
coz over the past few years busy working...
this year considered the "freeiest" national dae in recent years...
not bad... the whole of the NDP is quite new...
overall nice...

dad bought some wonton mee and satay back...
wow... 1st time get to eat pork satay...
kinda nice actually... XP
