Well... i didn't expect to be home todae... XD
let alone go out... lol...
they said this year not as much orders as last year...
so dat's y not as busy...
in turn... no need OT till very late...
but still... tomoro working 6am - 2pm
den go home sleep... start work again at 11pm - 7am... O_o
shagness...
oh well...

after work todae...
went to PS to watch National Treasure 2
quite a nice movie actually...
the usual treasure hunting for gold...
like in part one...
and those in Tomb Raider...
those ancient Aztec type of lost city and such...
city of solid gold... etc etc...

the plot of clues leading to new clues...
and finally to the treasure...
somehow seemed a bit too rushed...
like too simple for them to crack...
i believe part one would make a better movie though...
but still... it's nice... :)

Boring off daes...

There goes 2 of my off daes... XD
tomoro will officially start roasting of them turkeys...
all the way till christmas...
may or may not be going home...

Gingerbread House?

Was passing by one of the kitchens when i noticed an artist making a gingerbread house...
sticking pieces of little gingerbread bricks using icing sugar onto a little wooden house...
wow... so nice...
he said there will be lighting in the house...
to make the doors and windows "glow"
hmm... i wonder wat the end result would look like... :)

for the 1st time after work...
i walked the internal compound of Raffles Hotel...
from outside... it looks normal...
nothing out of the ordinary...
but once i stepped further inside...
wow... everything is so elegant...
fountains everywhere...
marble flooring...
everything look so posh... O_o
now i noe... $1000+ for a room is definately worth the stay there...
you'll feel like a king there...

Hungry Ghost Festival

Worked 7-3 todae...
so did breakfast for Kopitiam...
omelette station...
Zzz...
i think too long never touch omelettes liao...
a bit rusted...
they looked a bit gross...
argh...
luckily not much ppl todae...
so not dat stress...
ya...
and they are great at throwing me there alone... O_o
all others dissappeared... -_-

there's also another function going on at abt 3pm...
think some talk from the Ministry of Defence trying to psyco new ignorant kids into joining the SAF as regulars... XD
watever...
after the talk was a coffee break...
NOTE: coffee break...
NOT LUNCH...
Singaporeans really kiasu...
once the doors open...
out rush the people... like locusts over a wheat field...
there ain't even space to move around...
and there they are... swarming over the food...
within seconds... the buffet set-up is empty...
and by god i do mean empty...
clean... spotless... zero... gone...
not a piece of tart or bread or sausage or pie left...
NIL...

went to top up the buffet...
even b4 i place the food down... already ppl starting to pick food from my insert... -_-
and once i place it down...
all come swarming in behind me... go back in... and out again...
empty again... Zzz...
and until all the tables are sparkling clean... they start to wait egerly for the food to be served again...
we have no more food...
all fed to the hungry ghosts...
so went back to kitchen to fry some emergency supplies of samosas...
and once we top up... we left...
dun care liao...
give u coffee break...
u think we serve lunch... Zzz...

the best thing is...
juz look at the amount of food they take...
1 person take 10 sausages...
5 chicken pies... Zzz...
a function of 650 people...
baker made 700 pies...
if everybody take 5 pies... wah... it's no wonder not enough food...
and then... the plates were cleared...
i saw the leftovers on the plates...
Zzz...
so many food...
all take so much... den never finish... throw away... -_-
can't finish dun take so much lah... ahhhhhh...
pek chek...

ya i noe...
dat's not the worst...
wait till i see ppl who ta pao from buffet lines...
lol...
oh well...

christmas is nearing...

Wish List

Finally thought of wat i want...
a fully equipped kitchen for me to dish out all sorts of food...
an experimentation ground for my test dishes...
able to dish out professional dishes at the comfort of my own home...
able to produce a 4 course set menu for my family...
Appetizer, Soup, Main Course and Dessert...
will wanna decorate my dining area into a mini restaurant... XD
hopefully i can get these when i move house... :)
