Shocking day at work

Went to work for 1 dae todae...
den tomoro off again... LOL!!!
so it's a bit crap to go work 1 dae and den off again...
BUT!!!
we're lucky we went to work todae...
if not... on Mondae... we'll die the most tragic death you could ever think of...

the worst thing dat could happen to any kitchen happened to us todae...
went to work...
went to the freezer...
O_o
HOLY DEFROSTED LAMB SHANKS!!!
the freezer is down... O_o
the entire freezer is thawed...
and judging from the condition of the thawed meat and stuff...
i'd sae the freezer spoilt 2 daes ago...
not a single ice cube can be found in the freezer... O_o

some of the meat are spoilt...
but most are salvaged...
so we're lucky we went to work todae...
if not... 5 daes... and we enter the kitchen on Mondae...
all items in the freezer... confirm 100% gone...
den hell will break lose...
all the angus steaks... lamb racks... Mondae set lunch items... foie gras... will all be gone...

so todae... come back clean the freezer...
settle 5 pax...
and go home...
tomoro another dae off... XD
happiness...

CNY Day 2

Went to my mother's side todae...
$44...
ahhhhhhhhhhhhh......
total up wif yesterdae...
only $136

lesser and lesser by the year...
i dun wanna noe how much i'll get next year...
maybe less dan $100... :(

so wat did we do todae?
nothing much...
juz went to my mother's side to collect ang pows...
and lunch there...

realised Singapore is indeed very small...
my cousin is actually working in Hotel Pan Pacific...
and noes Ting... XD
wahahaha...

Kung Fu Dunk

1st dae of CNY...
as usual... went to my father's side for ang pow exchange...
a miserable $92
including my parents...

ang pow getting lesser and lesser...
what used to be $10... $20...
became $2... $4... -_-
imagine after opening all ang pows...
i got 5 $10 notes only...
and 21 $2 notes... -_-
so sad...

oh well...
went to my aunt's house to play blackjack...
small bets though...
which in the end... i won $8... WAHAHAH!!!
coz all dun wanna bet big...
so bo pian... XD
but still... $8 is still extra money... :)

went watching Kung Fu Dunk wif my cousins and brothers at Cineleisure...
watched the midnight movie...
1 word...
VERY computer graphics...
all the dunking moves...
like an exact replica of those basketball game moves...
story a bit lame...
but still... not too bad...
a little touchy ending... but not touching enough...
for me... at least...

movie mainly on basketball competitions...
and focusing mainly on the dunkings...
dat's pretty much wat u r watching the movie for...
average movie to me though...

Ah Long Pte. Ltd.

Watched Ah Long Pte. Ltd. on CNY eve...
so here goes...

it's those usual Jack Neo films...
where u could actually predict wat's gonna happen...
well... all his movies are almost the same...
if u watch all his movies and the TV programme "Gao Xiao Xing Dong"
and ALL his productions...

so this movie...
is actually...
kinda lame...
lamishly funny though...
from start to end...
u juz laugh at lame scenes...
quite good... it actually keeps u entertained through the movie...
psst... some ppl dun like it... XD
that's y ZZZzzzzzz......

anyway...
to me... i feel it's kinda nice a movie though...
BASED ON all Jack Neo's productions...
it's improving...
be it story line or graphics... or sound...
it definately improved a lot since No Money No Talk...
however... if u'd compare it to ang mo movies...
he still got a loooooooooooooooooooong way to go...

Mark Lee put in quite a lot of effort into his Malaysian accent though...
so much it sounds exactly like a Malaysian speaking...
even CK's accent can't beat his... LOL!!!

if ur a fan of Jack Neo...
u should watch this movie...
it not... u'll hate it like the rest of Jack Neo's productions...

if i were to rate this movie based on all Singapore film productions...
it'd score quite a lot...
but i'll rate it based on an individual movie itself...

Reunion Dinner 2008

So we got an off on CNY eve... XD

stayed at home the whole dae...

then came reunion dinner...

like last year... my father cooked...

this year lesser food though...

from 9 course dinner cut down to 6 course dinner...

after dinner...
went online and chatted wif a few friends...
decided to watch Ah Long Pte. Ltd. at Marina Square...
and hopefully go jalan jalan at River Ang Pow...
rushed for the 11:35pm movie...
though reached at 11:45pm...
we managed to get in...
however... we missed the 1st 5 mins though...
about the reviews... i'll post in the next post...
and ya... Dawn slept through ½ of the movie... -_-

after the movie... we went for satay...
and did went to the River Ang Pow... but it was all closed... hahaa
and around the city area in search for a stupid toilet...
which we ended up using the toilet in Fullerton Hotel... XD
walked down to Boat Quay...
seldom see such inactiveness in the pub districts...
so empty... so dark...
there's actually a guy so drunk dat he gotta be "transported" home by 7 of his friends...
1 at the shoulders...
2 at both arms...
2 at both sides of the waist...
and 2 at both legs... -_-
LOL!!!

Early Release

Everybody doing their last minute CNY shopping?
everybody having their early reunion dinner?
everybody saving money for ang pows?

y nobody eat todae?
called boss and asked if we could close early...
and waddaya know... we close restaurant at abt 7:30pm...
went Maxwell Food Center to ta bao food...
and we eat in the restaurant...
early reunion dinner ba... LOL!!!
and after dinner...
went home at 8:30pm...

Full House

Restaurant fully packed during lunch todae...
everyone got their pay...
wallets heavy...
feeling generous...
come to restaurant for lunch...
so very busy during lunch time...

split shift break went to Bugis to shop...
though i didn't shop...
accompanied my collegues for their CNY shopping...
and guess wat?
in the hustle and bustle of Bugis Village...
my eyes actually caught a familiar face...
wahaha...
saw Liqiu... XD
said hi and stuff b4 running off to catch up wif my collegues...
everybody shopping for new clothes...
making the whole place so packed...
Zzz...
seriously hate crowded places...

den went back to sleep in our restaurant for an hour...
b4 starting work again...
dinner not as busy...
