Bedok FCC - IPPT Results

Ok....................................
went for my IPPT todae...
at Bedok Camp II
did sit ups... SBJ... chin-up... shuttle run...
all was well...
but i was amazed... O_o
this was the 1st time in history i had a 10 sec flat timing for shuttle run...
LOL...
the best i got since i remembered was like... 10.3 or so...
anyway...
dat's another case of one of my many "1st times" this year... LOL

then comes 2.4........... -_-
dat was a killer...
28 secs from a pass...
ARGH!!!
well... dat's wat i get for not training at all for the past 2 years... LOL

anyway... speaking of 2.4...
i was in the 2nd detail...
and while i was watching the 1st detail like a horse race...
i saw a singh... the only singh... on the track...
man... he was fast... O_o
he got a gold timing btw...
ever wondered y singhs can run so fast?

School Restarts...

Finally... after a long long weekend...
we finally got to go back to sch...
felt a bit reluctant to go back to sch though...
but well... i dragged myself to the MRT station todae... Zzz...

and guess wat?
i was so amazed by wat i saw...
for the 1st time in my life...
the morning 7:30 MRT was NOT A CAN OF SARDINES!!! O_O
there actually ARE available seats for me to place my butt on... LOL... :P
it was then i wondered...
is it still holidae?
do i have school todae?
ain't nobody's workin todae?
for once i don have to stand in the morning train... lol...

and sch was boring as usual...
with only half the class attended... -_-
some still on new year's mood...
some still holidaying...
and some... celebrating birthdae for some...... one...
didn't come to sch... Zzz...

anyway... IPPT in 3 daes time...
*GASP*
i've got a strong feeling dat i got a 99% chance of failing... LOL...
oh well... it beats surrendering $50 to mindef... Zzz...

Ang Pow Collection

Throughout my 24 years of Lunar New Year...
this is the 1st time...
the 1st time we went from place to place with only my parents and siblings...
Zzz...

for the past 24 years...
new year was like...
the entire Lim family of 8 children...
would gather at my late grandfather's home...
and after having all members of the family present...
cross exchanging ang pows between families...
and after brunch... of usually mee sua and abalone...
we would ALL move out in unity to our next relatives home...
i guess i could call us the "Ang Pow Raiders"

once we reach our next destination...
u'd better get ready no lesser dan 30 ang pows... LOL
coz we'll all be barging in raiding ur drinks and tid bits... not to forget... rochers...
and!!! ALL YOUR ANG POWS IS BELONG TO US!!!

after a couple of visits to our "not-so-close" relatives...
we would disperse back to our own homes...

this year...
many of my cousins have gone MIA...
some having plans of their own...
some visiting other friends of relatives...
some even overseas...
it's not as lively as before anymore...

anyway...
juz as i expected...
i didn't get any more dan $200 this year AGAIN... -_-
New Years Eve - $70 from both my parents...
1st Day - $2............................ O_O Pathetic amount... i noe... Zzz...
2nd Day - $70 from my father's side
3rd Day - $38 from my mother's side

so i got a total of SGD$180
if not for the $50 my dad gave me...
i'd only have $130... Zzz...
so sad...

anyways... dad said he'll be cooking crab on 15th of the lunar calender...
hopes he keeps his promise... LOL... :P

2nd Course - 8 Tresure's Steamboat (Scallops, Baby Clams, Fuzhou Fishballs, Fish Slices, Meat Dumplings, Mushrooms, Prawns, Vegetables)
3rd Course - Crispy Roasted Suckling Pig
4th Course - The Roasted Trio (Roasted - Duck, Chicken, Pork)
5th Course - Steamed Red Garoupa (Hong Kong Style)
6th Course - Boiled Tiger Prawns
7th Course - Dried Scallop Fried Omelette
8th Course - Stir Fried Dried Scallop with Kai Lan in Superior Stock
9th Course - Longevity Noodles (Mee Sua)

Seriously speaking...
this dinner is enough to feed 10 people...
to think there were only 6 of us feasting on this... -_-
no doubt... there was a lot of left-overs...
which my father said...
signifies abundance... we will have no lack of food this year...
well... some will be left for tomoro's dinner... LOL...
